California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA:

  • Right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell
  • Right to delete personal information (with certain exceptions)
  • Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party tools (Google Calendar, QuickBooks, etc.). Those services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

Google API Services User Data Policy

myCo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Section 10

Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account deletion, we may retain certain information for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution purposes for up to 3 years.

Section 12

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, please contact us at legal@honeybook.com.

International Users

The Service is operated in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
