Terms of Service

Section 01

Eligibility

To use our Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
  • Be located in the United States or Canada

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Service Description

myCo is an AI back-office service built for home service businesses. Our Service includes:

  • Automated client communications (reminders, follow-ups, review requests)
  • Integration with scheduling, billing, and CRM tools
  • Handling billing and payment processing
  • Ongoing support and management of your account

The Service does not guarantee specific business outcomes. Results depend on many factors including your business data and how you configure myCo.

Section 03

Account Registration

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your information
  • Keep your contact information current so we can reach you
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

Section 04

Fees and Payment

Subscription Pricing

Plans are offered at Starter ($69/mo), Growth ($129/mo), and Scale ($249/mo). Pricing may change with notice.

Trial Period

New subscribers receive a 30-day free trial. No credit card required to start.

Billing

Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds for partial months.

Refund Policy

Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis. Contact us to discuss your situation.

Section 05

User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm any person through the Service
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use any automated system to access the Service without permission
  • Resell or redistribute access to the Service

Intellectual Property

Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its content, features, and functionality, is owned by HoneyBook and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you provide. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it in connection with providing the Service.

Work Product

Work produced by myCo on your behalf belongs to you, subject to applicable third-party rights.

Section 07

Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party websites and services. These third parties have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

Section 08

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information provided through the Service.

Section 09

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HoneyBook and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you have paid to us in the six (6) months prior to the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).

Section 10

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HoneyBook and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Section 11

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Binding Arbitration

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the AAA in San Francisco, California.

Class Action Waiver

You and HoneyBook agree that each party may bring claims only in an individual capacity and not as a class member in any purported class proceeding.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of arbitration by sending written notice to legal@honeybook.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.

Section 12

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

Section 13

General Provisions

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and HoneyBook regarding the Service.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

Changes to Terms. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
